Job Description Technical Compliance Manager responsible for; * Provide day to day direction for the direct labour teams in relation to compliance as stated in Sellafield guidelines * Control and implement the nomination process * Be the controlling mind on all things relating to technical compliance * Review and audit reactive and PPM works to ensure conformity * Ensure full compliance with Sellafield SLP's in the delivery of subcontractor and directly delivered works * Build relationships with key peer groups across Sellafield Engineering department * Review project delivery to ensure technical conformity * Organises and attends subcontractor key meetings and stakeholders as needed * Understands and complies with company policies and procedures * Attends and fully participates in training and appraisal activities as required Obtaining and controlling all relevant resources, such as people (skills and knowledge), plant, and materials to enable delivery of technical compliance within the contract. Qualifications Qualifications Electrical trade background Mechanical trade background IOSH Managing Safely certificate Building services or engineering background Additional Skills Business management diploma Trade backgound Experience * A proven track record of delivering works on a Nuclear site. * Qualifications in pressure systems and electrical systems * Provide evidence of working and delivering in a technical role * Able to enable processes through to completion * A good general knowledge of nuclear site non core operational practices would be an advantage coupled with a sound understanding of health & safety good practices. * Must have a high standard of computer literacy * Must have ability to liaise with client representative's at management, operational and H&S levels. * Demonstrate effective supervision of direct labour and sub-contractors across various trades * 5 years experience in a similar role Additional Information Personal Attributes Must be a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, focussed on service delivery, operational support & customer service. Able to develop and nurture long term lasting relationships with the client, staff, sub-contractors and other service suppliers. Acting with Integrity at all times and with a diligent approach to organising work and dealing with our customers. Utilising a positive approach to ensure a good work ethic exists within the team to enable works to meet statutory compliance as a minimum, whilst striving to meet with industry best practice. Will demonstrate a willingness to adapt to new methods, keep abreast of clients procedures and health & Safety Legislation .
