Position: Central Operations Manager - Permanent Location: Nottingham City Centre (No parking) Salary: £30,000 -£35,000 DOE Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week We are currently recruiting for a Central Operations Manager in Nottingham City Centre. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can deliver excellent customer service and drive, you will line manage a team of up to 12 colleagues and ensure that the company is using all systems efficiently, such as iO system. Please see some of the duties below to be successful as the Central Operations Manager: Manages the growth and success of the Central Operations Teams Coordinates the day to day activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis Ensure iO processes are in place to support business requirements and align to the business strategy To assist in seeking areas of improvement to drive up efficiency and to lower cost, with a focus on iO and centralisation of key tasks To develop members of the central ops team To oversee correct application by all support team(s) of processes and procedures and provide feedback to the local Ops Managers To provide operational input into complex matters or projects as required Provide support to the Head of Central Ops and other members of the management team as required To create a culture of high-level service provision from the Central support team Complete the Company Annual Appraisal Process and perform regular One to One meeting with the Central Support Team to ensure that they meet performance standards and to support ongoing development of team members Develop and maintain existing processes and procedures As part of the wider Operations Management team, support Employee Relations issues by conducting investigations, disciplinaries and grievance meetings as required Always Promote professional behavior by demonstrating courtesy and respect to all colleagues and following the Company's equality and diversity policy Ensuring health and safety policies are observed Completion of other reasonable duties, as defined by the Senior Management Team The right candidate will demonstrate the following attributes People management & leadership skills Strong IT literacy, including all Microsoft Packages Confidence to deal effectively with clients, colleagues and product providers Ability to efficiently manage priorities and workloads Ability to stick to strict deadlines Self-motivated Customer focused Ability to promote a team spirit and sense of purpose Ability to act as coach and mentor Ability to work under pressure Problem Solving Decision-making Prioritisation The above advert will stay live until the candidates start the role then and will be deleted.
