Central Operations Manager

The Client: A UK-wide independent financial advice business who specialises in all aspects of savings, investments and retirement planning to individuals. Through successful partnerships, they deliver independent financial advice to their customers. The Opportunity Responsible for managing the provision centralised support for all offices to deliver exceptional customer service and drive the client journey. The role holder will Line Manage a team of up to 12 people and will act as the "subject matter expert" for the iO system, ensuring that colleagues are using the system as efficiently and effectively as possible, gaining the maximum return on the investment in the technology. Duties will include but will not be limited to: Coordinates the day to day activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements. Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations. Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis. Be the company iO system expert and support the business in ensuring all aspects of the system are used correctly and efficiently. To assist in seeking areas of improvement to drive up efficiency and to lower cost, with a focus on iO and centralisation of key tasks. To develop members of the central ops team. What’s needed for me to be considered? Six Sigma Green Belt qualification or equivalent is desirable Attainment of or studying towards CII, Chartered Status, RO exams or qualifications equivalent is an advantage Knowledge of the financial planning market including products and services.
