Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplies Manager with proven experience, to join our dynamic Finance Team located in our Cardiff Hospital on a Full-Time and permanent basis. Spire Cardiff Hospital is a premium provider of private healthcare in South Wales. We practice some of the most advanced treatments with the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening, rehabilitation and cutting-edge surgical procedures across a variety of specialist treatments which are all delivered through our expert and caring clinical teams. Overseeing the development of the hospital supply chain and stock holding strategy whereby you will deliver significant change and improvement Leading projects such as a critical evaluation of consumable storage that will improve spend, efficiency and productivity Managing a small team of Stores Co-ordinators Establishing, implementing and managing systems to monitor and report on slow-moving stock, effective stock rotation and stock date checks Who we're looking for Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines Previous responsibility for project and/or supply chain management Experience working in a similar environment would be beneficial but by no means necessary as full training will be provided Must be a good communicator and have good computer literacy Benefits We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options ‘Spire for you’ reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers Free Bupa wellness screening Private medical insurance Life assurance Please see the attached benefits leaflet for more information.
