Our client is looking for Supplies Storeroom Attendant
Inventory Management: Receive and inspect incoming supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality; store items in an organized manner.
Distribution: Prepare and distribute supplies to various departments as requested, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Stock Monitoring: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels; identify items that need replenishment and notify the supervisor.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of all incoming and outgoing supplies, including usage and storage locations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in the storeroom, ensuring proper handling and storage of supplies, particularly hazardous materials.
Organization: Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and accessible, ensuring all items are properly labelled and stored.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their supply needs and address any issues related to inventory.
Waste Management: Dispose of expired or damaged supplies in accordance with safety regulations and organizational policies.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse, or storeroom operations is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks; comfortable standing for long periods.
