Overview
Walters People are proud to be representing a leading business with a growing shared service centre based in Manchester as they look to recruit a RTR Accountant for a 16 month fixed term. This role is paying circa £50,000 plus benefits. You will be responsible for the production of timely, accurate and compliant month end processes in a role which is pivotal in driving process improvements and delivering on the businesses finance vision. Key responsibilities: Maintain financial systems to ensure completeness of statutory and group reporting for region, ensuring compliance with accounting principles/standards, relevant regulations and reporting requirements Drive compliance within a robust control framework and take responsibility for internal/external audit deliverable Provide excellence service delivery and technical expertise to key stakeholder groups Provide supervision and development for a team of qualified/part qualified accountants Key contributor to the R2R management to collectively deliver the finance vision Support key change initiatives and drive through continuous improvement As the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with proven experience of month end close activities within a shared service centre environment.
