Overview
Corporate Development Manager £60,000 per annum Central London As Corporate Development Manager, you will drive external growth efforts from the origination of M&A deals to the execution of transactions. The right candidate is someone who has experience analysing potential opportunities, performing valuations, assessing strategic fit and executing deals. You will be required to lead on the due diligence process and support on a transaction from origination to completion. You will have experience building financial models, writing investment papers and structuring a transaction having been involved in a process from origination to completion previously. The role reports to the Senior M&A Manager and Head of M&A and will work closely with external advisors, internal teams and senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: To assist the Head of Corporate Development and Senior Manager in all stages of the M&A deal cycle. Participate in and manage transactions from origination to completion including due diligence, deal structuring, post completion obligations and commitments. Develop detailed, complex operational and valuation models. Assess the impact of the transaction on the overall business. Lead due diligence efforts, including coordinating with internal and external teams. Execute transactions including process management, structuring, negotiations, and closing deals. Liaise with other departments and business units. Ad-hoc financial analysis as required. About You: Bachelor's degree required 2 years of transaction experience. Big 4 CF, M&A/TS or Corporate Development or Investment Banking. Preferably ACA qualified. Excellent analytical and technical skills, strong command of accounting and M&A concepts and ability to create financial models.
