Overview
Established over 50 years ago, our client is a growing 3 partner high street law firm. The firm is based in central Oxford and is well known in the area for providing quality legal advice to both commercial and private clients throughout the region. The Family Department within the firm is thriving with quality work being generated by the firm and its existing clients. As part of succession planning, the firm is looking to appoint a family solicitor or legal executive to join the buoyant team of 3 other fee earners. You will be responsible for running your own caseload of privately funded family matters, along with assisting the partner with more complex and higher value matters. The work will include divorce and separation matters, drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, drafting cohabitation agreements, financial arrangements, ancillary relief and arrangements for children. This is a client facing role and the firm is seeking a certain individual with aspirations to assist growing the Family Law Department in the future. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and friendly, have good academics and have a minimum of 1 year of family law experience in handling a privately funded caseload. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience, paying up £38,000 - £55,000 for the right candidate.
