Marketing Assistant - £10.00 an hour - Cardiff The Role An award-winning specialist provider of digital services, websites and software applications is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join its enthusiastic team in the booming tech hub of Cardiff. On a part-time basis, the Marketing Assistant will assist the Commercial Team with the external promotion of the company, including campaign development, with a primary focus on the sports industry. The key responsibilities of a Marketing Assistant include, but are not limited to: Writing articles, blogs and industry relevant reports, and driving the editorial focus of the company website. Assisting the development of marketing campaigns; ensuring that marketing materials are up-to-date, particularly on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Proactively seeking new PR opportunities; establishing media contacts; consulting clients on updates and changes to products and services. The Person The key skills and qualities of a Marketing Assistant: Digital marketing experience is essential, with experience in producing and delivering marketing projects and campaigns. A keen eye for a story or promotional opportunity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of sports and a degree in a marketing related disciple preferred, but not essential.
