Overview
Mind Regional Manager - West Midlands Area Be amazing, we encourage it Benefits: £37,000 - £40,000 Car (Volvo V40) Pension I'm recruiting for a retail Area/ Regional Manager role covering the West Midlands. One of my Regional Managers tendered their resignation. After 9 years of total commitment to Mind and delivering in excess of £1 million in net profit over those years to such a worthwhile cause, I couldn't be more proud of him and his team. I now have an opportunity for a retail leader that some people may consider daunting. Don't worry, we'll support you every step of the way. All that I ask is that you dive in, embrace the culture and use your natural leadership skills to develop your team, Region and colleagues. We have a desire to constantly challenge ourselves by bringing in fresh points of view, we are also looking for somebody that will help develop our systems and our procedures as well as making a significant contribution to our charity. You are the type of leader who has a plan, sticks to it and in fact gets your team to run through brick walls for you. Occasionally you get things wrong, when you do you react quickly, admit your mistake and fix it - this is one of the key behaviours we expect of our teams and your team love this about you. Does your current role offer you the autonomy to challenge the status quo and to think creatively of new ways to improve your business? Does it also offer a diverse workplace that engages you in; new shop acquisition/ openings, creating new methods of working, true P&L accountability, input into buying new merchandise or training and development that is limited only by your imagination? If your current role offers these things then stop reading, good luck with your career, it sounds brilliant If your current role doesn't offer you these opportunities, we should talk. We're Mind the mental health charity. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and we campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. You don't have to know anything about the Charity Sector, I didn't, I've spent my career in High St retail enhancing share prices rather than enriching others lives. I now know which I prefer as an individual and as a retailer. You will be an experienced leader, with a proven track record of delivering results through your people. Your experience will centre around fashion, in a multi-site capacity or a flagship store. Right now you're a role model for your team and for your colleagues. Your current team think you are inspirational and in all probability there will be tears when you resign. If this sounds like you I'd love to hear from you. Please send your CV and covering letter stating West Midlands RM in the subject line (due to the high level of applications, if you do not hear from me within 4 weeks you should consider yourself unsuccessful with your application). Due to our commitment to a work/ life balance you must live on patch to be considered for the role. Shops include; Northampton, Kidderminster, Gloucester, Bletchley, Kingsthorpe, Dursley, Oxford, Bearwood, Moreton-in-Marsh, Knowle, Wantage, Burntwood, Stratford, Bridgnorth, Solihull, Shrewsbury, and Swindon.
