Janitor

Our client is looking for Janitor

Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, walls, and furniture in offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Restroom Maintenance: Ensure all restrooms are stocked with supplies, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, recycle materials as appropriate, and ensure proper disposal of waste.

Floor Care: Maintain the appearance of carpets and hard surface floors through appropriate cleaning methods, including waxing and polishing.

Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed; notify supervisor of any shortages.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations; use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.

Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.

Support Functions: Assist in setup and breakdown for events, meetings, or special projects as needed.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is a plus but not required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for long periods, and bending or kneeling.
