Laundry Staff

Our client is looking for Laundry Staff

Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, uniforms, and other textiles according to established procedures.

Equipment Management: Operate and maintain laundry machines and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order; report any malfunctions to the supervisor.

Quality Control: Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear; perform necessary treatments and repairs as needed.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies, including detergents and fabric softeners, and inform the supervisor when reordering is necessary.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols when using cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.

Sanitation Standards: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry services provided, including quantities processed and any special instructions or requests.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure timely and efficient laundry services.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping is a plus but not required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.

Basic understanding of fabric care and laundry processes.

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks; comfortable standing for long periods.
