Our client is looking for Human Resource Generalist

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Human Resources operations.

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience.

• Completion of CSEC – Inclusive of Mathematics and English Language (Minimum Grades 1-3).

• Certificates in Human Resources.

• Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.

• Knowledge and actively informed of all changes associated with Guyana Labor Laws.

• Excellent verbal and written skills.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

• Experience using HRIS Software

• Familiar with processing employee benefit-related issues and other HR-related duties.


Major Duties:

• Verification and processing of Group Health & Life applications, issuance of medical cards, payments for medical reimbursement, notifying employees of overutilization, processing health insurance claims, and monthly invoices from the insurance provider.

• As per the cease salary notification from the onboarding officer request from the insurance company any indebtedness of overutilization of medical coverage while notifying them of attritions.

• Verification and processing of National Insurance Scheme (NIS) medical certificates, preparation and submission of monthly sickness reports to Payroll, and updating HRIS system with the sickness days.

• Problem resolution: assisting employees with resolving benefit-related issues, such as claims disputes or billing discrepancies. Collaborating with insurance providers, and other relevant parties to address and resolve problems effectively.

• Reporting daily on medical, monthly reporting, and updating on leave balances, benefits, and other reports required.

• Preparation of job letters for employees.

• Collaborating with hiring managers, determining their hiring needs, reviewing staff requisition, advertising, sourcing via social media, recruitment, and networking platforms to identify potential candidates.

• Shortlisting resumes, prescreening via telephone and conducting video-calling or in-person interviews, evaluating candidates, and issuing assessments to determine suitability.
