POSITION SUMMARY: To strengthen our Sales organization, we are looking for an exceptional Regional Account Manager / Key Account Manager UK, South West England & South Wales, based in UK, and reporting to the UK & NI National Sales Manager. Position Summary: The Regional Oncogenomic Liaison is responsible for maximizing the potential of Oncotype DX assay sales in key accounts across the London & South East region. Imperative to this role will be developing local account plans that are aligned to the national brand plan and achieve above expected sales growth. It is essential that he/she can use advanced selling skills with HCPs which include but are not limited to; Surgeons, Oncologists, Pathologists and Breast Care Nurses and is able to uncover customers' needs in relation to Oncotype DX and move them along the adoption pathway in terms of how they think, feel and then act in relation to the test. As part of wider key account management and stakeholder management, he/she will be expected to engage with non-clinical customers to demonstrate and help them understand the value-added benefits that Oncotype DX can deliver to the NHS using bespoke assets that have been developed. This is an autonomous role with full accountability for the region, so the individual will need to be able to work on their own and prioritize where they are going to spend their time to gain maximum return for their efforts. As of 2018, two other multi gene assays have been approved for use and so there is a need to be able to operate in a competitive market. This means being able to clearly differentiate Oncotype DX from its competitors and put in place effective account strategies to ensure that account decision making units understand what value Oncotype DX provides beyond testing breast cancer patients. In the London and South East region, there are a few high-profile hospital trusts, who have national and international opinion leaders working in who are strategically important to Genomic Health now part of Exact Sciences. It will be expected that this individual will be able to interact with these customers and manage these relationships on a peer to peer basis, with an objective of developing brand advocates for Oncotype DX Genomic Health now part of Exact Sciences in the UK is a small efficient team with large ambitions. It is important that the ROL is comfortable working on their own and being self-sufficient and as part of a team. This is a field-based role and so the expectation is there will be significant travel required to meet the needs of the business RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: - Drive sales in the Southwest of the UK both in the private healthcare sector and in the NHS- Accountable for managing, growing business in existing/new accounts, achieve sales goals - Give presentations on the product at a local level, attend relevant conferences/events in the UK, EU and assist with exhibition stands - Develop account plans ( strategic & tactical )that are aligned to the national brand plan - Management of regional budget and align spend with account objectives - Engage with clinical & non-clinical customers in both the NHS & Private Sector - Develop local & national opinion leaders to be & act as brand advocates for Oncotype DX - Deliver impactful and compelling presentations on Oncotype DX to NHS customers - Become a product expert on Oncotype DX and have an excellent comprehension and understanding of how breast cancer is managed in the UK - Attend regular training on the product(s) and relevant conferences/events in the UK QUALIFICATIONS: - Life science degree/clinical experience are a plus - Proven large territory or large account management skills - Experience of working with multiple stakeholders & decision makers across the NHS - Excellent understanding of cancer care in the UK private and public healthcare sectors - Marketing, managed care or team leader experience are a plus deep understanding and familiarity with clinical research in cancer - Sales experience in premium products with a strong record of success promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics (ideally in breast cancer) in the region - Evidence of pathway and guideline development to demonstrate industry and NHS joint working to improve efficiencies and patient care - Deep understanding and familiarity with clinical research in cancer - Clean UK Driver's licence TRAVEL: Travel Requirements: 40-75% Travel RequiredPhysical Requirements SALES AND OTHER JOB THAT REQUIRE CONSIDERABLE TRAVEL: TRAVEL, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Edit, add, or delete below as appropriate and access (free) www.onetonline.org as a resource for physical/mental requirements: Travel Requirements: [Select One: More than 50% Travel] [Note if the following is required: suitable vehicle, valid automobile insurance, valid driver's license, good standing DMV record] [Note territory or geographic area for travel - South West England & South Wales] Use of compute
