We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant The Successful candidate will work closely with an experienced cook to provide healthy, nutritious meals suitable to dietary needs to the residents of this home whilst ensuring choice and input of the residents being a clear focus and vision of this role. Duties will include; To assist the cook with managing and preparing meals within the Care Home in liaison with the residents, cook and Manager. To undertake menu planning and ensure that meals are provided in sufficient quantities, taking into consideration special dietary needs and preferences. Check quantity and quality of stock and assist the cook and manager with weekly order requirements. Manage cleaning of kitchen and ensure health and safety and hygiene policies are maintained.
