The post The Health Infrastructure Plan, recently published by the Department of Health and Social Care, recognised the need to radically overhaul the health infrastructure at Hillingdon Hospital and supported the Trust's ambition for a new Hillingdon Hospital. The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is now seeking a Programme Manager who will play a key role in managing the day-to-day business of the redevelopment programme to enable the new hospital build. The postholder will support the Head of PMO in ensuring the highest standards of governance and the adoption of best practice programme management methodology. The post holder will service a range of key committees, manage the complex matrix of meetings necessary to deliver the programme, produce reports and papers to provide assurance on progress internally and externally, develop briefings for key stakeholders and manage projects within high priority areas. The post holder will also act as a point of contact for the Redevelopment Director and Programme Director and provide support to them as required. The successful candidate We are looking for someone who is highly organised, flexible and an excellent communicator, comfortable working with staff at all levels internally and externally. You will have significant project management experience, an understanding of the principles of good governance and board assurance, strong planning and co-ordination skills, excellent written skills and experience of supporting at a very senior management level.
