Job Description

Position Summary What will this role achieve? To lead defined areas associated with a key channel partner to succeed in all key parameters. These areas include maintaining relationships and driving new business opportunities with the partner. It is the Account Manager's role to broaden SEUK's points of entry into sales channel and increase Samsung's standing within the account. The ultimate goal is to significantly grow market share to current business aspiration delivery upside both in terms of volume and value and to maintain leadership for Samsung within the UK consumer electronics market. Role and Responsibilities What will be your key results? Achievement of specific monthly sales targets by value & volume for the account. To grow the AV and Audio categories. Implementation of AV / Audio attachment strategy and planning to support the TV category. To support and assist the TV National Account Manager, to align strategy. To achieve the above within the strategic channel strategy laid out for Samsung Electronics UK. Main responsibilities: Handle internal and external contact points relevant to the accounts management Establish relationships within the account to ensure Samsung goals are achieved Responsibility for Supply Chain Planning & Entry to GSCM on a weekly basis Budget planning and management - SOA/PP - maintain financial control of the accounts. Work with the channel team to deliver marketing excellence within the specific accounts. Close liaison with the field teams to deliver the above marketing plan in-store. Work with Finance teams to ensure account is run within Samsung strict finance guidelines. Collaborate closely with Service team to ensure service guidelines are rigorously adhered to. Ensure diary time is made for regular field & HQ visits. Product knowledge to be maintained at Experienced level using internal training resources. Complete weekly performance and turnover reports for your accounts in the format requested. Upon request build or supply presentations or business background reports for your area (QBRs). When required assist colleagues by covering during absence and completing crucial tasks. Build and deliver upon an annual development plan set in accordance with Samsung training and development rules and guidelines. When handling promotional requests ensure lines of authorisation are followed to the letter. Product set up and ranging planning. Skills and Qualifications What do we need for this role?
