Feel Proud We're looking for an Associate Specialist Community Paediatrician to join our West Essex team based in Harlow, with easy access to London and the M11 and M25 motorways. This exciting opportunity will help develop the Community Paediatric Service and shape service pathways in the area. The position is a whole time position, however part-time and flexible working patterns will also be considered. You will join a growing team of 5 paediatricians providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and on-going care to children, young people and families in Essex. As the Associate Specialist Community Paediatrician, you will have a deep understanding of community paediatrics and have relevant experience in clinical management of children, including those with neurodevelopmental difficulties and safeguarding children. You will have full GMC registration with the ability to demonstrate an in depth medical knowledge. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how working in community settings differs from hospitals, show willingness to work without immediate supervision and have the ability to diagnose and appropriately manage abnormality in children. You will additionally have the opportunity to be involved in clinics focusing on neurodevelopment, special needs and autism. The community Paediatricians also host meetings every 3 months which incorporate CPD, clinical governance, service design, safeguarding supervision and peer review, audit, medicines management and team management.
