Job Description
Reporting into the Operations Director, this role is a high-profile position within the organisation. The organisation are a growing medium-sized eCommerce/Multi-Channel Fulfilment business who are seeking someone with strong Parcel/Courier Carrier Management experience. THE ROLE: * Carrier Management of Parcel Carriers and Couriers across the UK. * Responsibility for significant carrier/courier spend. * Agreement of SLA's with carrier/courier partners with regular performance reviews. * Onboarding of new carrier/couriers where appropriate. * Significant data analysis - utilising Excel and other systems in order to look at trends, forecasting and providing operational reports where appropriate. * Engagement with high-profile blue-chip B2B customers. THE PERSON: * A candidate with Parcel/Courier Carrier Management experience - ESSENTIAL * Strong IT systems skills - including Excel (need to be comfortable with VLookUps, Pivot Tables & Formulas. - ESSENTIAL * eCommerce/Multi-Channel/Omni-Channel experience - HIGHLY PREFERABLE * Analytical mindset - can use systems and data in order to manage performance, look at trends, come up with operational forecasts etc. * Able to understand complex problems and come up with bespoke solutions. * Demonstrable Carrier/Courier sub-contraction P&L responsibility. * Able to work autonomously and "take the lead" in this role. * Strong commercial acumen. * Able to think beyond the obvious. * Keen to leave an impact on this business and grow with it.
