Engineering Project Manager Date: Jan 16, 2020 Location: Runcorn, GB, WA7 3FA Company: Teva Pharmaceuticals Company Info We are currently recruiting an Engineering Project Managerto join our Engineeringteam in Runcorn. The purpose of this role is to ensure business plan requirements are met through the effective management of projects within approved budgets, agreed timescales and in line with the EHS and GMP requirements. As an Engineering Project Manageryou will be reporting intothe Senior Manager, Process Engineerand will help provide technical support to improve equipment performance through design, installation and maintenance. Job Description Key Responsibilities: + To identify the tasks required for specific projects providing forecasted costs, timescales and resource requirements for approval. + To manage allocated projects ensuring adherence to schedule, budget and compliance with EHS and GMP requirements. To manage projects in line with the Global Engineering Lifecycle (GEL). + To identify and develop proposals for improvements in site efficiency for approval by the Process Engineering Manager. + To provide technical support and expert advice as required to support manufacturing and project objectives + Effective facilitation of project execution through motivating team members, encouraging participation and good team working conditions. Ensure clearly defined Roles for project team, values feedback + Effective communication and influencing of key stakeholders in support of the project. + To provide cost and time estimates for defined project tasks to allow capital budgets and Capital Expenditure Requests to be proposed for approval. + To identify resource requirements required to achieve project objectives and ensure (with support from Process Engineering Manager) that appropriate resource is available. + To plan tasks required to achieve project objectives within cost and time constraints. Plan to be communicated to customers and activities to be tracked against plan. + To assess project tasks for potential impact on company procedures (Safety, Health, Environmental and cGMP) and to identify (with relevant support) suitable actions to minimise risk. + To organise with Manufacturing and Maintenance teams activities for equipment commissioning, qualification and handover. + Responsible for control of engineering systems (e.g. ELDs, layout drawings, seals drawings, component specifications) as required by Process Engineering Manager. Qualifications + Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience within the pharmaceutical industry. + Ideally a Chartered engineer or working towards Chartered status. + Excellent Technical ability, problem solving and team working skills + Proven record of working under own initiative within a highly regulated environment + Proven experience of managing projects with planning and coordinating responsibilities + Strong project management skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver against targets. + Very strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
