Global Engineering Manager - SPS Projects and Systems Engineering

Job Description
**Role Summary:** Responsible for delivering all engineering effort in the requirements definition and execution of SPS projects globally. Responsible for delivering the associated engineering required under the terms of SPS Project contracts. Ensuring that all requirements are understood, definined and cascaded to all product organisations to deliver projects that meet requirements and are delivered within engineering budget and agreed contractual schedule. **Essential Responsibilities:** Accountable for the project performance of the engineering function in delivering all SPS projects globally to client and business requirements Responsible for On Time Delivery of the engineering function in support of those projects Responsible for Project productivity performance Responsible for managing client technical interactions and comms on project Responsible for supporting Projects leader and projects directors if escalated above the PEM Technical leadership of the Systems Engineering Managers and system testing, installation, commissioning Technical leadership of the systems engineering responible for equipment design, delivery, and installation of subsea production system equipment. Technical leadership and interaction with respective 3rd parties via subcontract and/or partnership in delivery of integrated service solutions. Provide operational and strategic leadership to balance between short and long term deliveries in line with budget and strategic commitments. Ensure the required resource profiles are correct against current demands and forecasts, working closely with the Engineering operations manager. Identify and implement key synergies to improve overall efficiency and execution. Maximise productivity and margin for the business. Minimise quality and HSE impacts whilst ensuring that lessons learned are captured to prevent reoccurence on future operations. Develop relationships with product CoE and ensure input of system considerations to designs and procedures. Liaise with customers either on or off site as necessary. Execute operation commitments and ensure on-time delivery. Provide support to Bid Management to ensure executable bids are proposed. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) management and monitoring. Line Management for all direct reporting positions. Oversee processes and quality within the department. Develop and improve the department's business processes . Drive Engineering team competence development. Ensure effective communication within the department including stakeholders across the overall Subsea Production and Services Organisation, Customer and Global Engineering Organisations. This position reports functionally to the SPS Engineering Director and operationally to the SPS Projects Leader. **Qualifications/Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college. Highly experienced and knowledgeable, with relevant experience and knowledge within a Services engineering business. Ability to manage effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Customer service mindset . Sound business acumen. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Knowledge of O&G products. Fluent English. Demonstrated ability to achieve company's targets. Strong ability to manage a multi-cultural team in a matrix organization. Effective team building and problem solving abilities. Able to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and with our customer base. Familiarity with a variety of susbea engineering and product areas.
