This is a newly created position and you will play a leading role, working with opportunity owners and the wider business, in shaping customer requirements and developing our capture plans, win strategies and Price to Win\. The Tools You'll Use We use a Shipley\-based process to guide capture and bid activity for key opportunities within the portfolio\. This is a highly networked role, linking Business Winning with Business Delivery, which requires an ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines, driving interaction with the sales team and all aspects of the business\. You will be accountable for adherence to corporate governance, following and improving the scalable business winning process from formal opportunity select process to contract award, development & delivery to ensure success\. To support the process, we use a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign; SAP; MS Dynamics\. Your Experience + Previous experience of capture and business winning combined with a proven track record of delivering successful, multi\-million pound product and complex technical solutions\. + Full capture lifecycle experience including the practical and effective use of formal capture management tools and methodologies such as Shipley\. + Have an appreciation of the rules and regulations governing public sector tendering process\. + Experience of planning and delivering capture plans in line with the strategic plan/roadmap ensuring benefits align, including Business Case generation\. + Leading proposals in conjunction with the Bid Team; planning and monitoring overall progress, managing risks, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate\. + Assembling capture teams with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to win\. + Analysing tender requirements, collaborating with the Bid Team to develop 'book plans' and proposal compliance matrices that capture and track all deliverables\. + Defining capture/bid/proposal production plans and schedules, planning and leading kick\-off and review meetings\. + Leading workshops such as Kick\-Off, Storyboard, Win Strategy, Solution Development and document reviews\. + Defining and executing the plan for the key governance reviews, presenting to Executive Teams at Division, Sector and Segment levels\. + Treating continuous improvement as a business\-as\-usual activity, with the aim of the increasing the business's year\-on\-year win rates\.
