Overview
Permanent Quantity Surveyor role, Main Contractor, Emergency Services projects. Nottinghamshire Your new company You will be working for a Nottinghamshire based main contractor who work across planned and reactive maintenance, new build and general refurbishment in multiple sectors. In particular you will be working on projects concerning the Emergency services. Due to a continued period of expansion the company are seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Your new role You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager working on multiple projects simultaneously. The role will heavily focus on the measurement of PSA Schedule of rates. You will be working alongside other Surveyors to share the workload and you will also be involved in dealing with subcontractors and clients throughout the lifespan of the projects. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful in this role you will have strong knowledge of PSA schedule of rates. You will also have excellent analytical skills and have recent experience of preforming a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Assistant role for a contractor What you'll get in return You will be working for a successful main contractor who have an excellent pipeline of work across the whole group. The organisation have a strategic approach to tendering and are in a position where they are able to complete works in their chosen field. The salary and package on offer is commensurate with previous experience, however as a guideline a salary of £35k - £40k package.
