Senior Back End Developer London 9 Month contract £550 - £650 per day Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Back End Developer to join a Global Oil & Gas company in London. Background Our client is embarking on its journey of digitalisation by using advanced technologies (data science, advanced/predictive analytics, machine learning, blockchain, etc.) to enable a step change in decision making, operational efficiency and connect directly & seamlessly with their customers. Responsibilities Write clean, elegant and maintainable production-level code Write tests for your own code and use test first approaches (TDD) to develop your code Participate in code reviews Work on data science and data engineering related programming tasks Participate in ScrumBan Ceremonies (e.g. Stand-up, Retro, etc.) and Continuous Improvement activities Develop the flask (minimal JavaScript) front-end for the application Required Skills and Experience 5 years' experience as a back-end developer Expert in Python Experience working in a DevOps environment Experience doing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and tools/techs related to them (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, etc.) Experience with the following Python libraries: NumPy, pandas, scikitLearn, SQL Alchemy, flask/Django Submit your CV now to be considered for this fantastic opportunity in London.
