Overview
The GPO role fulfils a strategic and tactical capability to ensure the accounting systems, processes and integrations are robust and controlled to underpin the technical accuracy and completeness of accounting within the ERP system globally. Partner with the Remediation team (Q1-Q3 2020) to align/define the remediation roadmap/agenda/timelines and collaborate on delivery of initiatives to ensure they are effectively embedded into 'run' operation Accountable for the end-2-end process design, operation and compliance across BPS Run Service and the Regional Controllers Accountable for the performance management of the BPS tower against SLAs and KPIs and gatekeeper for managing increases/decreases of operational/transactional scope for BPS Towers and commercial/contractual implications Accountable for the touchpoints and integrations between the PTP Tower and MDM (Master Data Management) team Collaborate with other Finance teams (e.g. Business Partnering, Treasury, Tax) to align on touchpoints to factor into requirements for change initiatives process roadmap Collaborate with the Finance PMO team to deliver/maintain PMO related artefacts, articulating risks and interdependencies for escalation Responsible for good Stakeholder engagement/management & communication cadence across Finance and affected business functions Accountable for PTP process related approvals (e.g. PAP spend requests, indirect supplier setup, supplier payments, changes to the global financial authority matrix etc) Responsible for monitoring compliance to the global financial authority matrix both within the ERP and across the business Person specification: Experienced Finance professional, with a strong grasp of finance concepts across controlling and reporting functions with relevant accounting qualifications Proven experience in a Global Process Ownership role within a in large multinational company with regional level, group functions and outsourced BPO service Demonstrable understanding of end-2-end transactional accounting and a strong grasp on PTP processes, indirect Procurement and Accounts Payable concepts, design and roadmaps Experience of process development and improvement methodologies is preferred (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) Strong verbal and written communication skills appropriate for engaging and influencing diverse range of audiences and stakeholders Strong business process modelling and management skills (preferably BPMN; Lean) Structured analysis and modelling skills: including business process and entity modelling Effective influencing and decision-making skills, showing clear leadership when it comes to driving out the definition of a problem and its solution Actively manages own development and skills, with a clear awareness of own strengths and opportunities for growth Proven ability to manage within a matrixed environment and motivate and mentor others Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast past and dynamic environment Proficiency in working in an ERP environment Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
