Role: Motor Fleet Underwriter Location: Kent Salary: GBP28,000-GBP40,000 Job type: Permanent Industry: Insurance An outstanding opportunity to join one of the worlds leading Insurers who have ambitious plans for profitable growth, has arisen for a Motor Fleet Underwriter. You will be responsible for reviewing and underwriting cases for negotiation, to achieve business development and retention targets. Responsibilities: You will be underwriting complex motor fleet risks Delivering planned financial results through the effective underwriting of cases. Contributing to the loss ratio control by effectively adhering to branch UW controls. Building effective trading relationships with Brokers Requirements: Previous 2-3 years Motor experience is essential Progress towards CII qualification - preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Strong trading capability - commercial awareness, negotiation skills, ability to build strong broker relationships.
