A permanent opportunity for an M&E Specialist to join a housing association in the south west Your new company As an M&E Specialist you'll be joining one of the UK's leading providers of social housing, providing great homes and a great service with a clear and defined social purpose. Across the wider south west area you will be joining a team responsible for managing and maintaining 15,558 homes. Your new role You will be responsible for the delivery of planned investment works utilising the services of framework contractors. These works include fire alarms, lift replacement and fire safety alongside more general kitchen and bathroom replacements. You will ensure projects are administered effectively, and that contractors are managed robustly, also leading on procurement of works as well as health & safety. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in your new position, you'll need to have a relevant qualification in mechanical & electrical services as well as previous experience in delivery of works in this sector. You'll need to have knowledge in building legislation, regulation and standards and be able to diagnose building defects.
