Overview
Redex Recruitment are currently working with Fright business situated in Basildon, Essex. Due to continue growth plans throughout the business they now require an additional Import Operator to join their existing team on a full-time permanent basis. Working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) and 17:00 Fridays Duties will include: Liaising with overseas partners/agents, receiving pre-alerts Contacting clients to obtain information/paperwork relating to current import shipments Checking paperwork received meets with requirements to grant release / delivery Raising sales Invoices, allocation of costings for suppliers’ invoices Liaising with carriers and UK depots to arrange for devanning of containers and releases / deliveries to door as required Quoting of rates to clients / overseas agents where necessary Loading of data into Freight system Requirements: High levels of customer service essential, with the ability to maximize file profitability A general understanding of Import Consolidation Good team communication skills both telephone and written High level of accuracy in all work undertaken Team player Minimum 1 year experience If you would like to be considered for this position, please apply via the link or contact Liam/ Sonny at Redex Recruitment for further details.
