Staff Nurse - Complex Care / Brain Injuries - RGN Location: York Salary: up to £33,150 per annum ( £17 per hour ) - Negotiable DoE Service type: Specialist Brain Injury and Neuro Rehabilitation Service Hours : Full Time or part time available - all days, all nights or mixed shifts Contract : Permanent Further Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced Registered Adult Nurse ( RGN ) to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive Brain Injury and Rehabilitation Service in York. We are looking for qualified Nurses keen to deliver high quality specialist intensive neurorehabilitation and care for patients with neurological conditions including Stroke, acquired brain injury (resulting from trauma or illness), Spinal cord disorders. We provide specialist care and management for patients with progressive neurological disorders such as Huntington's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone disease and Parkinson's Disease. We have a four-bed Transitional Ventilation Unit with specialist nurses. Service is a Headway Approved Provider 2017-19. Our Neurological Rehabilitation Centre is a purpose-built building with excellent facilities and equipment including 24 ensuite bedrooms plus 3 further rooms forming a transitional living flat. The centre has a hydrotherapy pool, large physiotherapy gym and purpose built occupational therapy kitchen. . Shifts: The hospital can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns . Their shift pattern is 0800am -2000pm (days) (nights). though this is a nights only role Location: The Hospital is easily accessed by car.
