Our IS team is currently undergoing a transformation which will enhance the services it delivers and ensure they are best positioned to play a proactive and value orientated role across our business. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations whilst embracing new technology to drive digital transformation; better connecting our customers, people, assets and information. As part of this transformation we are recruiting for a number of new and exciting roles within our IS team. What will you be doing? To help us deliver exceptional IT services to our business, we are looking for a new Cloud Applications Engineer to aid the exploration of business problems with intuitive visual tools that require little to no code; as well as provide support for Digital Cloud Applications. Taking a leading role with the maintenance and technical aspects of Cloud Applications, you'll be influential in ensuring the appropriate policies, processes and procedures are in place and operating effectively. Key responsibilities include: Support the Problem Management and Incident Management process by providing technical expertise and support to our Cloud Service Providers to ensure SLAs are met. Provide end users with technical knowledge of little to no code self-service O365 Power Platform tools (including but not limited to Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate) Provide a Cloud On-Boarding Service facility for all projects ensuring Cloud Application services, processes and methods are fully understood to ensure a successful implementation. This will also include specific technical access and provisioning activities. Provide assurance of adherence to Cloud Application policies and processes Work with the Cloud Technical Service Owner to assure service provider and supplier compliance with service obligations Provide excellent customer engagement and support for Cloud Applications. Support the Cloud Application Release Management processes by working with the Release Advisory Board in relation to the assessment and introduction of new Cloud Applications. Establishing an 'Evergreen' release management processes for self-service Cloud Application tools such as the Power Platform and their dependencies (i.e. Power BI Gateway). Provide support to the Platform Architects and Cyber Security in defining appropriate governance for end user tools, including reviewing the licencing model. Support and maintain on premise Digital Applications whilst we move to Azure cloud services in the next 12 months. What do you need? As our next Cloud Applications Engineer, we are looking for you to have significant experience in IT Service Management and IT End User Support to compliment your strong exposure to Cloud platforms & applications with specific knowledge of Software Development languages (.Net technologies), Microsoft Azure, Microsoft DevOps and Activity Directory. With experience in Change and Release Management, you'll be comfortable managing a range of relationships internally and externally to meet SLAs and KPIs. Your strong knowledge of Office 365, working in an Agile DevOps environment and experience of supporting Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate will allow you to offer a first- class customer service to your key stakeholders.
