Overview
Estimator - South London based refurbishment contractor - local authority schemes - Up to £55,000 Your new company An Estimator is now required in SE London by an established and steadily expanding Main Contractor. Working predominantly in the 'Decent Homes' & Local authority refurbishment markets the successful candidate will be looking after 3-5 Projects depending on Size at one time. Projects are typically in the 500k - £2Mill Range. Your new role You will undertake the preparation of tenders/bids/budget proposals, Liaise with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain competitive/accurate quotations for specialist elements of the works, Attend pre-contract handover meetings, all necessary bid meetings and client meetings as requested throughout the tender process etc. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have decent homes experience as well as a Commercial background.
