Estimator - Smoke Ventilation Job Title: Estimator - Smoke Ventilation Industry Sector: Smoke Ventilation, Smoke Vents, Fire Alarms, Heating Systems, Ventilation, HVAC, Plumbing & Heating, Architectural Drawings, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Estimators, Estimating, Quantity Surveyors and Contractors Based: London & Home Counties Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 basic salary 12.5% bonus paid annually Benefits: £3,500 car allowance after 6 months service and full benefits package The role of the Estimator - Smoke Ventilation will involve: Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all smoke ventilation products Review and evaluate cost estimates Communicate with trade partners and team members on new and current projects Estimating in support of bids and proposals to be prepared by our client’s sales team who provide smoke ventilation systems Receiving tender enquiries and producing general take-offs to create quotations and estimates Prepare budget estimates for M&E consultants and quantity surveyors Handle telephone enquiries from M&E consultants, M&E contractors Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, M&E contractors, sub-contractors Managing bid prices Preparation and issuing of formal quotations to customers Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met Provide costing support to projects team on successful bids Will be required to site visit The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Smoke Ventilation with: Must have experience with smoke ventilation systems OR fire alarm systems OR heating and ventilation systems Must have experience in the a estimating position Ability to read technical drawings from M&E consultants and specifiers Excellent planning and organisational skills Ability to absorb technical aspects of a diverse product range Ideally related qualification in construction, engineering, manufacturing or surveying Ability to manage all elements of estimating and quoting to ensure customer satisfaction Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Sales Jobs, Construction sales vacancies and Specification sales positions within the building industry in sectors such as: Smoke Ventilation, Smoke Vents, Fire Alarms, Heating Systems, Ventilation, HVAC, Plumbing & Heating, Architectural Drawings, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Estimators, Estimating, Quantity Surveyors and Contractors
