Overview
Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter required. Our client is an established HVAC company based in South East London who are looking to bring in a Lead Plumber/Pipefitter with a commercial background. The Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter will be working on industrial and commercial projects throughout London; typical projects include working on refurbishments or new builds of schools, colleges, universities, offices or other local authority premises. The ideal candidate will be based within a commutable distance to London. The Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter will be leading a team of engineers and managing the installation of all pipework, chilled water systems, sanitary ware, radiators, waste pipework and associated systems including running pipework to sinks and installing toilets etc. The Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter will also be tasked with diagnosing/repairing problems in commercial plumbing systems, including fault-finding, assessing parts needed for a job and placing orders for those parts and providing professional assessments and advice for clients. Commercial Plumber/ Pipefitter Position Overview Removal and installation of pipework, radiators and other associated systems. Running commercial plumbing installation projects where you will be expected to perform such duties as organising labour/materials on site, assisting the Contracts Manager, interpreting specifications and drawings and liaising with consultants and designers. Commercial Plumber/ Pipefitter Position Requirements Experienced pipefitter with Pipe fitting steel, Press fit Pipework and a Commercial Plumbing background Gas Safe or heating experience would be an advantage but not essential.
