About The Old Vicarage Care Home The Old Vicarage is a residential home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, personaility disorder and mental health needs. About the role About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join a friendly and dedicated team to support adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities and complex needs. This includes individuals who require support with autism, dysphagia, sensory impairments as well as behaviours which are described as challenging. You will provide support and encouragement to residents in all areas and activities of daily living. You will need to enable residents to develop and maintain skills to maximise their independence, alongside supporting residents with their personal care needs. Skills and experience The ideal candidate: Previous experience as a care assistant/support worker is essential NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or working towards is desirable The Old Vicarage Care Home Address: Church Road, Shrewsbury, Location: Baschurch The Old Vicarage is a residential home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, personaility disorder and mental health needs.
