Overview
Children's support worker - Poole Your new company In this role as a support worker you will be working with up to 30 children and young people. The children will range from the ages 5 - 17 years old. The role will be to join a well-established Care Group who are based in a residential home in the Poole. This is an ideal opportunity to join a caring organisation and work in a challenging and supportive environment. Your new role You would be responsible for assisting children and young people, where necessary, with intimate and personal care as well as following an individual child or young person's care plan and contribute to their continuing development. The company is looking for child support workers to cover day shifts which would make up a 37.5 contract or alternatively night child support workers who would be expected to cover at least 3 nights a week. What you'll need to succeed As a support worker you must have great patience and be very understanding, you will need to be motivated and passionate about helping young people. You will also need to have a genuine desire to make a real difference in people's lives. You will need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle. You must have the right to work within the UK.
