Semi Senior job in Glasgow for a CA/ACA or ACCA qualified Semi Senior or a Semi Senior studying towards their CA/ACCA or ACA professional accountancy exams. Alternatively, our accountancy firm client would consider qualified by experience accountants. Our client is an independently owned multi-Partner general accountancy firm that provides a full range of accountancy services from audit to tax and general business advice to corporate finance solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a Semi Senior accountant who is looking to further their career within a progressive firm of accountants based in Glasgow that provide accountancy services across the city and the whole of Scotland. The successful Semi Senior will gain significant amounts of general accountancy experience whilst also being supported in your professional accountancy exams and career development. Reporting into a Senior Accountant the successful Semi Senior will provide support in the management of a client portfolio and assist more junior accountants Given the nature of this role, the ideal Semi Senior will have good communication and technical skills combined with a desire to deliver excellence in all that they do whilst enjoying a progressive career. Applicants should currently be or have recently worked in an accountancy firm and live a commutable distance from Glasgow. The Semi Senior will undertake the following duties: Assist Senior Accountants in the management of a diverse client portfolio Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships and Charities Preparing both personal and corporate tax returns Reviewing the work of more junior accountants Bookkeeping With full study support towards your ACCA/ACA or CA accountancy qualification, if required, combined with a defined route for career progression this is an exciting opportunity to join an established firm of accountants based in Glasgow.
