Personal Assistant / Client Services Assistant Location: City of London Salary: Highly Competitive plus bonus Hours: Full time Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional and adaptable PA / Client Services Assistant to work for a Partner within a St. James’s Place Wealth Management - Partner Practice which is based in the City of London. You will be managing the work generated by the Partner and offering support as required. St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. You will be employed by the Practice. The Role - Personal Assistant / Client Services Assistant You will be working with the Partner in all aspects of office management including: First point of client contact on the telephone Dealing with all client communications by e-mail Proactive client servicing management Diary management and appointment making Stationery ordering Preparing letters, presentations and reports Preparing all documentation for the Partner’s meetings Meeting and greeting clients for meetings held in the Moorgate office Note taking of daily actions and inputting into task management system and allocating to team members Event management for personalised client or stakeholder events Dealing with non-technical enquiries and working closely with the Business Administrator Keeping related documents up to date and managing / monitoring work in progress Chairing weekly work in progress meetings Working closely with outsourced Paraplanner to move progress of reports along in line with service standards. You have an initial period of training to learn new processes and skills which would provide you with a solid foundation for a career within a Financial Services Practice. The Person - Personal Assistant / Client Services Assistant This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, highly organised and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do’ working style. You have exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written An excellent eye for detail and good IT skills Excellent customer service skills Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach to their workload Works calmly under pressure and is able to assess complex and pressurised situations logically Enjoys working as part of a small team You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion Able to work towards goals and targets as part of own professional development and company performance Willing to become 'PSS PA’ accredited At least 1 years prior PA experience of working with demanding Executives with a hectic work schedule (preferably financial services). There is an opportunity to move into an Executive PA position in 12-18 months’ time.
