Overview

A leading asset managers in the city is currently looking for an L&D Manager to join their team on 12 month basis. This role will oversee all aspects of the learning and development agenda for the firm and will collaborate closely with business leads, HR colleagues and external vendors. Alongside day to day management of an L&D Advisor and Associate. Accountable for outlining the firms approach to supporting career development by developing and enhancing the tools and resources available to managers and employees Managing the performance management process Alongside the HR Operations lead support the implementation a new performance management system Ownership of the firms approach to a range of training programmes: Leadership and Management Development (12 month programme) Sales Development Interviewing and Evaluating skills Womens Development Programme Negotiation Oversee two L&D colleagues whose key accountabilities include: Campus recruitment and development Core L&D curriculum Professional Qualifications & Education Support Technology Training On-boarding and induction Apprenticeships Logistics, planning and reporting Candidate requirements: The ideal candidate will likely have experience of undertaking similar work within a small to medium sized financial or professional services firm Understanding of technical training within FS Understanding current training requirments within Financial Services Service-minded Willingness to learn the regulatory side of learning and development in financial services Proactive and 'can-do', someone who collaborates and brings people along with them. Excellent organisational skills Professional integrity and emotional maturity Internally driven to produce excellent results Excellent written and verbal communication ability Negotiation skills Good network in the learning and development area of financial services would be an advantage
