An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Design Engineer to join a start-up company near Cambridge within the consumer electronics industry who has just secured the funding to expand their team Product Design Engineer responsibilities: You’ll be involved with all aspect of a project lifecycle and will be working collaboratively with the electronics team. It’s a growing company with exciting plans in the future so they are keen to hire creative and passionate engineers to continue their journey Ideally we are looking for a Product Design Engineer with the following experience: - User-focused approach to design - Consumer products background - Good working knowledge of Engineering principles - Prototyping form early proof-of-concept through to technical demonstrators - Experienced Solidworks user - Moulding DFM experience (desirable) - Rhino and Keyshot (desirable) - Usability testing experience (desirable) Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 DOE The interview process will be via telephone/skype/zoom/Microsoft teams.
