Overview
An Alternative Provision based in West Drayton is seeking a Life Skills Coach to join their team on an ongoing basis. At this provision, each student is allocated a Skills Coach who works with them on a one to one and small group basis. The Skills Coach arranges reviews and monitors the progress of the student, keeping in close contact with parents, carers and other relevant agencies. The Skills Coach is the first point of contact for students and parents and carers. They consistently support students with a solution focused approach. Skills Coaches also deliver tutorials to enhance the curriculum. Tutorials are thematic and range from keeping safe to careers. To be considered a real asset to the school, you must demonstrate: -An ability to engage in reflective practice and work with restorative justice approaches. -A non-judgmental and empathic approach. -A genuine passion for education. -Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. -An energetic and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude. -Resilient and persevering personality. -Both a friendly and professional manner.
