Software Developer / Application Engineer opportunity. Are you a technologist with a love of problem solving? You will be a part of a small development team collaborating with other solver developers in the team. This Engineer / Developer position is a highly technical role that requires you to have excellent mathematical modelling and programming skills. There is a strong need to think beyond conventional approaches to conceive of and develop new and innovative approaches. The Software Developer / Application Engineer candidate will join a fast growing, award-winning business who develop leading edge software and count some of the World’s major automotive, motorsport and aerospace companies as close technology partners. You’ll be creating new mathematical models and writing computer programs to simulate performance of multiple physical domains such as thermal, electrical, mechanical, fluid and electro-magnetic and to analyse the interactions between these domains in complex systems. We’re looking for someone with a PhD in physics, mathematics or any relevant engineering discipline and experience in physics-based modelling, object-oriented programming, proficiency in a programming language, preferable C++ and ideally experience in parallel computing and GPU-accelerated computing preferable My client offers a fantastic benefits package of great training and development as well as a competitive salary, an annual bonus, flexible working, life and private health insurance.
