Overview
NJR Recruitment is 'exclusively' working with an award winning firm of Chartered Financial Planners who are now looking to recruit an experienced File Reviewer to join their team. Working from their offices based in Altrincham you will be carrying out quality reviews on client files ensuring the advice provided meets Company standards in respect of documentation and suitability of advice, ensuring they are reviewed thoroughly, fairly, consistently and promptly. Responsibilities Undertake client file reviews covering all aspects of business written across the private wealth spectrum; inclusive of Pensions, Investments, Protection and IHT/Tax Planning Identify risk issues on cases reviewed and recommend corrective actions, applying the principles of Treating Customers Fairly Following the RAG Framework for the production of regular MI reports to identify trends, risks, inconsistencies and highlighting any breaches Prepare feedback reports to Advisers highlighting development needs and action points and requesting further information and correct action as necessary Record all appropriate information on the Company back office systems in line with file review standards Manage own workload load to ensure all outstanding action / information is followed up, completed and resolved appropriately and within Company timescales, liaising with Advisers and the Head of Risk Management as required To undertake reasonable additional project work in line with KPI's, client segmentation and other regulatory developments Requirements Level 4 Diploma qualified (DipPFS/RDip) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working within an IFA/wealth management firm Previous file checking experience Up to date Regulatory knowledge Sound knowledge of UK Financial Services Industry and retail products The ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and think pragmatically Our client is looking for someone with "can-do" attitude who has the eagerness, passion and drive to succeed in ta fast paced busy environment.
