Embedded Software Engineer - South London - Award winning broadcast equipment. An Embedded Software Engineer with 2 years’ experience in software engineering and with good knowledge of interfaces and hardware subsystems will bring their enthusiasm and excellent communication skills to a dynamic company, producers of groundbreaking products for the Global radio industry. The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will bring: A minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree. Proven hands-on development on embedded targets. Programming in C / C++. Software Configuration Management Tools. Network protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems. Embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. As a key member of the software team you must have the ability to work to tight deadlines, be pro-active in a fast- changing environment and will provide guidance to others when required. The successful Embedded Software Engineer will primarily design, develop, code and test embedded software; reviewing code and designs as well as analysing and enhancing efficiency and scalability of system resources.
