Development Manager
Overview
Reporting to Director of Development, we are seeking a Development Manager to work with our client on a prestigious, land mark scheme. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Director of Development and working with the Construction Director with development management responsibility for the successful progression and delivery of leasing, design, discharge of planning conditions and value add opportunities. The Development Manager will be working on a 10acre site that will oversee a mixed-use scheme consisting of hotels, restaurants, a number of creative offices and residential apartments. The successful candidate will: Overseeing feasibility appraisals and various financial analysis to identify viable value add opportunities Manage project team on the production of all relevant documentation to secure all necessary approval(s)/authorities to proceed with the development Manage the neighbourly agreements including the brokering of party wall, crane oversailing, rights of light and daylight and sunlight situations Lead timely budgeting and resource planning to ensure efficient and effective development management of the project Approval of asset management and value creation initiatives Overseeing preparation for and enable the successful hand over of the project to the asset & estate management teams at completion Key Competencies: Effective communicator Intellectually and commercially able, with personal skills and style to manage key relationships Numerate and logical with capacity to analyse complex issues and distil key factors with accuracy and speed Outstanding written and spoken communication skills Sound strategic thinker Strong leadership skills Apply now or make contact for a confidential discussion on 020 7318 5872.
