Support Worker Are you a warm, highly motivated person with person-centred values who can empower and support people with a learning disability to transform their lives? Are you creative, proactive and willing to go the extra mile to enable people to achieve their aspirations? If you answered yes, then this is the role for you This would be suitable for people with or without experience as there is no manual handling, medication or personal care requirements. This is a fresh approach to supporting people in their own tenancies offering a modern, comfortable and safe environment for people to thrive in. As a Support Worker you will enable tenants to maximise their sense of well-being and independence through tailored, ongoing care and support. Through your work you will promote tenants participation with the local community and help them achieve personal goals. Our empowering approach ensures that all our tenants live a fulfilling and valued life. Although we value relevant experience of supporting people with a learning disability you do not need to have prior experience if you can demonstrate a ‘can-do approach’, person-centred values, energy and commitment.
