Overview

Support Worker, Temp, Children and Young People, Social Care. Your new company This client is one of the UK's leading children's specialist education and behavioural health service providers. Their primary focus is on children who have high severity needs with challenging behaviours and complex care requirements. Your new role Our Client is looking for support workers to do long days during the week and on weekends and twilight shifts (4pm - 9pm) during the week. You will be supporting the team to provide quality care and support during your shift whilst maintaining their independence within a school setting. What you'll need to succeed For this role you will need: Minimum of 6 months experience within the industry A Full UK driving licence with access to your own transport is desirable A knowledge of autism Good Communication Skills A Knowledge of Epilepsy is advantageous What you'll get in return You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team with specialised skills who are passionate about the work they do and the young people they support, you will also receive: Free quality online training such as Manual Handling, Fire Safety, First aid Free Enhanced DBS Check Competitive pay rates Ongoing, regular shifts.
