Make a difference in the lives of those with Learning Disabilities We have nearly 20 services in Cornwall and are looking for enthusiastic and positive people to help care and look after the people in our care. Our goal is to make sure that every person that in our homes receives the personalised support that will empower them and live the life that they want to lead. Every person in our homes are unique, with different, dreams goals and desires, with your help we can to continue to ensure that they are able to develop and have a positive impact on their life. Some of the people in our care may struggle with communication, relating to others or displaying their emotions. The role of the support worker is to work with them to help ensure that they're able to grow in confidence and achieve incredible things You will be responsible for helping look after the people in our care, we work with each person to provide them with personal goals, whether that be education, care plans or helping them with skills to ultimately achieve independence. A huge part of what you'll do is be a friend to them, someone that pays attention and genuinely cares , you'll get involved with activities like taking them out to the shops, maybe it's swimming lessons or just getting them out and about having fun. In the homes everyone works together as a team, you'll continue this tradition so we can all work together to create the best work environment possible No Experience? No problem We offer comprehensive training from the time that you start with us, and continually whilst you're with us. Whether that be progression opportunities or NVQ qualifications. We care about our residents but we care about our staff too, without our amazing staff we wouldn't be able to do what we do.
