Overview
Location is: Cosham, Portsmouth Hourly rate: £9.25 p/h increasing to £10 per hour after 12 weeks A large national company focused in utilities based in the Portsmouth area - looking for someone to join the GIS team. This company are leaders in their field supplying natural gas to 5.9 million customers. This is a full time position offering 37 hours p/w Mon to Fri - Using Geographical Information System - Updating the mapping system to display the company's assets - Managing you own work load and being responsible for the completion of tasks within a timely manner - Changing priorities at short notice as well as working with other teams to resolve issues with quality of work submitted You will have: - Computer literacy with Microsoft applications - A sound technical mind with problem solving skills and strong attention to detail - Data handling/entry skills - GIS experience is preferred but not essential - Experience with Maximo (or similar databases) is an advantage This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company who offer full training and potential growth within.
