Overview
Do you have experience with hand and power tools? Are you looking for work with an immediate start? If yes, then we have the perfect role for you My client in Thornaby is looking for a Semi-Skilled Operative to join their team on a temporary basis. The role would suit someone who has basic joinery or fabrication experience and is good using a variety of hand and power tools. Duties will include: Box building Welding of metal work Assembly work on site Using measuring equipment Use of hand and power tools including grinders, drills etc. Operating machinery on site An understanding of technical drawings would be an advantage Implementing health and safety on site at all times Rates of pay are between £8.50-£9.00ph depending on experience, working day shift from 8am. The role will start initially on a temporary basis, but long term work potentially available depending on business demand.
