Overview
This is a really exciting opportunity to manage the treasury function within this diverse and rapidly growing business. The Head of Treasury will be responsible for the following: Manage the Group Treasury policy, defining the framework within which the Treasury function will operate. Deliver all external compliance obligations, for example with bank facilities, regulators, and auditors, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements and obligations are met and also, ensure internal compliance obligations are met. Monitor daily transactions to ensure compliance with risk limits and restrictions. Regularly review procedures and controls to ensure that all controls are fit for purpose. Monitoring exposure to interest rate, fx and counterparty risks; managing trading limits and exposures; developing trading policies Provide support for other areas of Treasury and undertake ad-hoc projects and activities as required. Manage the group's cash and borrowings, including monitoring and planning cashflow, relationships with third parties and compliance with contractual obligations. Minimise the group's exposure to foreign exchange, and interest costs by developing and implementing risk reduction strategies. Manage the group's insurance provision, relationships with third parties and an efficient claims recovery process. Manage a risk management process to identify group financial risks and assess the impact of mitigating actions. Contribute to an effective and continuously improving finance division. In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you are either a head of or manager level within a treasury function ideally from a blue chip / corporate environment.
